Dear Councillors, Council’s Executive Team, et al,
This being the 22nd Year WORLDsillyWEEK has been acknowledged in Launceston and that the LONGEST NIGHT being an auspicious time to be acknowledged, you are invited to gather in Civic Square and on Town Hall steps to:
- Meet and mingle with some of the city’s homeless and their supporters; and
- Sponsor a ROUGHsleeper on Town Hall steps; and
- Share a LAUNNYsnack/meal with those in attendance; and
- Bring an instrument of any kind for a bit of a LAUNNYjamm.; and
- Take a selfie or two for SOCIALmedia to demonstrate that Launceston is a CARINGcity as well as being a GASTROMONYcity!
It is anticipated that people might begin gathering 5.30/6.00ish no RSVP required just turn up and be counted as a WORLDsillyWEEK #22 Celebrant.
