To get your licence the do SILLYscribbles (sample below) simply ask the Mayor and supply:

• a receipt number for a recent donation to a registered charity; and
• the name of the licencee.
  

You will receive via eMail a link that will enable you to print off as many licences as you may wish. It is recommended that you print at least two, one to be carried with you just in case you are called upon to present it and another to be framed and displayed in a prominent position in order that your actions during WORLD SILLYweek may be better understood.

Please note that there will be a small fee charged for the preparation of the file. The fee in Launceston  is only payable by cash at a registered collection point. The Mayor's Office will advise on the appropriate place.

PLEASE NOTE: People in public office need not apply for this licence in their role as public servants given that, in general and by-and-large, many are inclined to behave as if they already have one and moreover one that is operative for 365 days per year.
