
Even if it is not truly silly during
WORLD SILLYweek in Launceston we should be celebrating the shortest day of the year by planting
garlic (Allium sativum) somewhere. Launceston's very own
GURUgardner,
Peter Cundall, advocates that we should be doing this on the shortest day so as we can harvest our garlic on the longest day along with other members of Peter's '
ONIONtribe.'
So we might also celebrate by eating garlic and there are many many wonderful things to eat with lots of garlic in them. Garlic is very good for you
